Get The Look: Ashley Greene at Eclipse Premiere

mark Brand Ambassador Ashley Greene and star of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse made her mark last night at the movies LA premiere at the 2010 Los Angeles Film Festival. Celebrity Makeup Artist Vanessa Scali shared her top makeup tricks for creating Ashley’s stunning look.

Inspiration
"We wanted to create a soft, glowing goddess look to complement her beautiful Alexis Mabille Couture dress. The overall look was golden skin, soft blushed cheeks, champagne shimmer and a softly lined eye."

Face
"I prepped Ashley's skin by applying mark Primed for Perfection Face Primer all over Ashley's face to create a nice, even canvas. I like the skin to look flawless but real, so I always use foundation and concealers sparingly. With Ashley, I used mark Speedway Do Everything Makeup in Natural. I applied it with the mark Foundation Brush and then blended it with my fingers. Using my fingers to blend heats the product just a bit and leaves a seamless finish. Next, I applied mark Good Riddance Hook Up Concealer in Light/Medium under her eyes."

Cheeks
"I wanted to create a nice luminous glow, so I started by applying just a touch of mark Get Bright Hook Up Highlighter in Natural to the top of her cheekbones, down the center of her nose and the bow of her top lip. Next, I applied mark Bronze Pro Bronzing Powder in Pro Glo to her temples, under her cheekbones and under her jaw line to lightly enhance the bronze in her natural skin tone. Lastly, I used mark Just Pinched Instant Blush Tint in Peachy on the apples of her cheeks for the perfect healthy flush."

Eyes
"For Ashley’s eyes I started by using mark I-mark Custom Pick Eyeshadow in Nomadic to create a champagne shimmer all over her eyelids and under the bottom lashes. Next, to define and elongate the lash line, I lined her upper eyelids with mark Keep It Going Longwear Eyeliner and Shadow in Entourage (Black Shade). For a touch of added depth, I used mark Get in Line Hook Up Waterproof Eyeliner in Painted Black at the very base of her lashes. I finished with a few generous coats of mark Lash Splash Hook Up Waterproof Mascara in Black."

Lips
"For Ashley’s lips, I started by using a dab of mark Kiss Dry Goodbye Lip Smoother to give her lips a touch of moisture. I then used mark Kissink Liptint Marker in Berry to define the outer edge of her lips and smudged the color into the center."

Ashley Greene's Sherlock Holmes Premiere Hairstyle

Celebrity hairstylist Ted Gibson styled Ashley Greene's hair for the NYC premiere of Sherlock Holmes. Here are Ted's expert tips and inspiration for how to get the look:

"Start off on wet hair and use Build It Blow Drying Agent and Hairsheet Styling to achieve volume and texture. After blow drying hair straight, use a large barrel curling iron to add movement, texture and shine. To finish off, pull hair back into a chignon using Tame It Shine Lotion and to hold it all in place, spray with Beautiful Hold Hairspray. We went with a more sophisticated look since the dress was a little below knee length and more demure, cocktail style. I wanted to be able to show off her beautiful face and fantastic neck by putting emphasis on these features with hair being a huge accent to the look."

Ashley Greene's New Moon Premiere Makeup

Celebrity makeup artist Vanessa Scali transformed the already beautiful Twilight star Ashley Greene into a gorgeous vision at last night’s The Twilight Saga: New Moon premiere in Los Angeles.

"The look was classic 60’s," reports Vanessa. "Well-defined eyes with lots of lashes, a strong brow and clean skin with subtle pink/coral cheeks and lips."

To start, Vanessa evened out Ashley’s "nearly flawless skin" with Lancôme's Effacernes Concealer in Light Bisque underneath the eyes. "It gives clean, fresh, flawless coverage," she said. Bobbi Brown’s Foundation Stick followed. Lancôme's Blush Subtil in Shimmer Pink Pool topped the apples of the cheeks.

For Ashley’s dramatic eyes, Vanessa swept YSL’s Fard Lumiére Aquarésistant Cream Eyeshadow in Pink Sands over the entire eye. To define and elongate the lash line, Vanessa used Lancôme's Artliner in Black and lined the inner rims with Shu Uemura's Painting Liner in White. The finishing touch: a few generous coats of Lancôme's Ôscillation Mascara in Black for "seductively lengthy lashes," says Vanessa.

Ashley’s brows were sculpted with Lancôme's Le Crayon Poudre in Brunet. Finally, Lancôme's hot new lipstick from the Pout-á-Porter series -L’Absolu Rouge in Chris & Tell - made a sneak peek appearance. The gorgeous hue, which was created for designer Chris Benz’s Spring show, will be available in February 2010. The Chris & Tell waiting list is open at the Saks Fifth Avenue New York counter. Call 212.940.2033 to be added to the waiting list.

Ashley Greene at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards

Celebrity makeup artist, Vanessa Scali, made Twilight/New Moon star Ashley Greene sizzle on the red carpet last night at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards. Ashley wore a light blue bustier top and flowery skirt by Dolce & Gabbana, so Scali created a look that was sweet, summery and sexy.

"I wanted Ashley to have radiant skin, so I used Shu Uemura’s new red:juvenus skincare line first using the Vitalizing Refining Lotion followed by the Intense Revitalizing Concentrate," said Scali. "These products feel weightless and penetrate quickly leaving the skin energized, refined and radiant." To complete the look, Scali gave Ashley, the winner of Teen Choice’s "Fresh Face", a beautiful shimmery taupe eye and a well-blushed cheek.

To recreate Ashley’s look, Scali suggests you take the following steps:

SKIN PREP: Shu Uemura Vitalizing Refining Lotion followed by Intense Revitalizing Concentrate (both available August 18th at shuuemura-usa.com). These products really made Ashley’s skin glow, creating the perfect canvas for makeup.

UNDEREYE: Lancôme’s Effacernes in Light Bisque. It gives clean, fresh coverage.

FOUNDATION: Shu Uemura Nobara Cream Cover Stick Foundation (available September 1st at shuuemura-usa.com). It gives a beautiful, flawless, natural look.

BLUSH: Lancôme’s Color Design Blush in Petticoat Pink on the apples of the cheeks.

EYESHADOW: Shu Uemura’s Cream Eye Shadow in P Brown all over the eye lid blending off at the crease and under the bottom lashes close to the lash line.

EYE LINERS: To define and elongate the lash line, use Shu Uemura’s Painting liner in Black. Also, line the inner rim of the eye with a matte white pencil. This is a great way to open the eye.

LASHES: For luxuriously full lashes, give yours a boost by adding Shu Uemura’s Flare Lashes in Black.

MASCARA: One generous coat of Kiehl’s Marvelous Mineral Mascara in Black.

POWDER: In the T-zone only, apply Shu Uemura’s Face Powder in Colorless (matte formula).

LIPS: Use Shu Uemura’s Rouge Unlimited in Wine 296 to stain the lip and finished with a light touch of Shu Uemura Gloss Unlimited bg 952s.

Twilight Star Ashley Greene Loves Lancome

Lancôme makeup artist Darais worked with Ashley Greene for Cosmopolitan’s Fun Fearless Female party at the W hotel in Los Angeles.

To create Ashley’s young, fresh look, Darais played up her eyes, cheeks and lips. He used Lancôme’s Color Design Liberty Palette in Nude Elegance (NEW from Lancôme's fall color collection Declaring Indigo) and then applied Lancôme Le Crayon Khôl in Black Coffee to the upper lash line to make Ashley’s eyes pop. Darais added some color to the cheeks with Lancôme Blush Subtil in Miel Glacé. To create her soft coral colored pout, Darais used Lancôme Color Fever Gloss in Solaire. Long, beautiful lashes are all the rage right now so Darais mixed a few Shu Uemura faux-lashes with Ashley’s natural lashes and then applied Lancôme Ôscillation Powerbooster to condition and strengthen the lashes. To finish the look, he coated Ashley’s lashes with several coats of Lancôme’s NEW mascara Hypnôse Drama.

Twilight's Ashley Greene Talks Beauty Shop

NY Beauty Secrets Examiner Gabrielle Long recently chatted up Twilight/New Moon beauty Ashley Greene, who dished about her must-have products, favorite beauty icons and the reason behind her new bob.

Here's an excerpt:

Q: What is your daily beauty regimen?
A: I started using BORBA products... they're amazing and leave my face glowing. My daily regimen usually consists of the BORBA: Age Defying Micro Diamond Cleanser, Elastin Fiber Concentrate, HD Illuminating Light Effects Serum, Orbital Eye Rejuvenator and the Age Defying Advanced Recovery Cream. To get eye makeup off, I use the Lancome remover. I also use the MAC Wipes to get all the makeup off before my regimen. And of course sunscreen...usually Kiehl's or Dermalogica. Dermalogica also has a really great "special clearing booster" for spot treatment on blemishes.

Q: Is your regimen any different when you're filming?
A: It's a little more involved on set with hot towel treatments and Dermalogica precleanse to get all that white makeup off. We use a lot Dermalogica products...I love the Microfoliant!

Q: Do you like to wear makeup when not filming, or do you prefer to go natural?
A: I don't really wear foundation...I prefer tinted moisturizer if anything. Usually after the Borba process I don't need it - my skin is in pretty healthy shape. It's usually mascara, concealer and lip gloss.

Q: You recently cut your hair (and it looks great!). Was it for your role as "Alice", or something you wanted to do for yourself? Do you prefer it shorter or longer?
A: Thanks! I cut it to make my hair fit under the Alice wig properly. I didn't have to go quite so short but I figured it's the only time I would EVER do it. I'm a long hair girl... I've had long hair my whole life. It's cute short, but I'll grow it back out.

Q: In your opinion, what makes someone beautiful?
A: I think a lot of what makes someone beautiful is how a person presents themselves. I was talking to someone the other day about how I find French woman so beautiful... it's something they possess inherently. I feel like when someone has a zest for life they come off vibrant and beautiful.

Q: What are your favorite beauty products?
A: BORBA (all of which I mentioned) and Dermalogica. I love Matrix sleek products for my hair - they work very well for me. Rose bud lip gloss is the best. YSL has a great illuminating concealer. Shiseido you can't go wrong with either... their tinted moisturizer is great. I also just found this amazing line in Europe called "Becca;" their stuff is amazing... I have to stock up when I go back because it isn't sold in the US!

Q: Who is your beauty icon?
A: Audrey Hepburn is classically beautiful.

Q: Lip gloss or lip stain?
A: Gloss...and Chapstick.
