NARS Illuminators!

Every time I apply foundation or tinted moisturizer, I mix in a little NARS Orgasm Illuminator - without fail. It takes my complexion to a whole nuther level...which is why I am positively giddy that NARS just added three new shades to the Illuminator family.

COPACABANA - Like its namesake Multiple, Copacabana Illuminator will impart a pearlescent sheen and can be applied all over the face, mixed with foundation, and used to highlight the neck, shoulders and décolleté.

SUPER ORGASM – Infused, like the blush, with golden shimmer and a peachy-gold hue that can be applied all over the face, mixed with foundation, and used to highlight the neck, shoulders and décolleté.

LAGUNA - A golden-bronze hue, just as in Laguna Bronzer, that will give a sun-kissed glow and can be applied to the face or mixed with foundation.

This collection of light-reflecting liquids glides on to refresh the skin, enhance the complexion and create a shimmering incandescence. The Illuminators can be used to highlight bare skin or to light up your makeup as it lights the skin from within.

Key ingredients include:
• Polar Berries, known for their antioxidant properties
• Bisabolol, known as an anti-inflammatory (obtained from the Chamomile plant)
• Indian Frankincense, known for its soothing and comforting properties
• Vitamin B5 to, known to condition skin
• Sodium Hyaluronate, known to hydrate skin

The Illuminators are $29 and are available at the new NARS Boutique in NYC, NARS counters and narscosmetics.com.

NARS Opens Its First Flagship Boutique!

Since launching his eponymous brand sixteen years ago, François Nars had dreams of opening a namesake boutique. After years of searching for the quintessential site, he found the perfect location in the West Village and turned to Fabien Baron to help bring his vision to life.

The NARS boutique will officially open its doors at 413 Bleecker Street in NYC on February 10, 2011!

By now you’ve probably seen the above12-lipstick "logo treatment" in ad campaigns in and around New York City. "NARS 413 BLKR" was conceptualized with Fabien’s team at Baron & Baron and the shortened street name boasts an insiders’ vibe with a cheeky nod to the neighborhood. Jungle Red Lipstick, one of the first 12 lipsticks that launched NARS Cosmetics, provides the black-and-white logo with a bold pop of color, a color scheme that will also be seen within the boutique.

More details will be revealed soon on the NARS Facebook page.

NARS Poker Face Nail Polish

When the weather gets chillier, I usually prefer a dark, edgy nail. But today, while perusing Sephora on my lunch break, I succumbed to the bright lilac charms of NARS Poker Face Nail Polish.

I painted the pretty purple on my thumb, but - for some unexplainable reason - left Sephora empty handed. As the hours passed, the color grew on me more and more...and now, as I type this, I have a sad face over leaving Poker Face at the store.

Guess I'm gonna have to make a return trip tomorrow to turn my frown upside down.

Makeup Mondays With Mario: Pretty Palettes

Celebrity makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic is answering your burning beauty questions!!! Every Monday, he will answer a beauty/skin care question as part of a weekly column on Spoiled Pretty, Makeup Mondays with Mario.

Mario,

I’m going to start by saying that you are a genius! I have learned so much through reading your blog and your Makeup Mondays with Mario column. What are your thoughts on makeup palettes? I have so many little eye shadow and blush containers that I never use because it's not convenient to open up every little jar one by one. Do you like palettes and if so, any recommendations for everyday colors? Thank you so much and keep inspiring!

Thanks, Debbie

Debbie,

Thanks for visiting MMwM, Debbie! I totally agree with you when it comes to the single eye shadow and blush containers. I have hundreds of them in my drawers and in my kit. That being said, I do like makeup palettes and I often use them on set. The trick is finding the right palette that works nicely for you. Check out The Balmbini Palette by TheBalm. I love the combination of shades for everyday makeup and one of my fave blush colors (Hot Mama) comes in the palette! Hot Mama blush is very similar to NARS' Orgasm blush and it works beautifully on darker complexions. For bronzy, warm tones, Lorac's Croc Palette is perfect. You won't get lip product in this palette but you'll have four great eye shadows and a basic natural colored rosy blush. These are only two of many makeup palettes out there to check out. Have fun!

Thanks for visiting Makeup Mondays with Mario!

xo,
Mario

Blush Blast From The Past: Benefit CORALista

You know what’s almost as fun as a new beauty product? It’s when you re-discover an oldie but goodie that you forgot that you had.

For the past several weeks, NARS Blush in Torrid has been step 2 of my three step/minute makeup routine (step/minute 1 being Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara and step/minute 3 being either Lancome Juicy Tubes 100% Natural Origin in Rose Pretty, Avon Glazewear Lip Gloss in Rave or Estee Lauder Pure Color Gloss Stick in Nude Almond topped with Make Up Forever Fascinating Lip Gloss in #10). But this morning, I decided to switch it up and go fishing in my bottomless basket o' blushes. What I came up with was Benefit CORALista Blush – and after sweeping it on my cheeks and admiring myself in the mirror, I can't believe I ever let CORALista slip my mind.

It imparts the most gorgeous, coral-pink glow that looks ab fab on a multitude of complexions. What I love most about CORALista is how effortless it looks; it applies like a dream and the blush actually looks like it's coming from within. Another reason to put CORALista on your shopping list? Coral happens to be the it blush shade right now (ladies, if don't know…you betta ask somebody ).

Oh, and did I mention that the blush – besides looking fantastic – smells fantastic too? It has this light floral scent that, while completely unnecessary, is totally genius. CORALista comes with an applicator brush, but for best results, I like to apply with my ecoTools blush brush.

Interview With François Nars

NARS is one of my all-time favorite brands – and if you’re a lover of makeup, it's probably high on your list too. Whenever I visit Sephora, I never do a lap before committing to a location. My first stop is always the NARS counter.

I'll never forget the time when my sister and I were shopping at the local mall and she started to get cranky; I'm a shopper of Olympic proportions, whereas she starts to tire after just a few hours. So when we stopped by Sephora, I bought her NARS Duo Eyeshadow in Rated R and it calmed her right down. That's the power of NARS, people.

Recently, my girl Amber scored an exclusive interview with the legendary François Nars. Did you know that his most-used makeup item is NARS Cosmetics Satin Lipstick in Honolulu Honey – which just so happens to be celebrity makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic's go-to nude lipstick?

For more dishy deets on François Nars, like how he creates a smoky eye and the inspiration behind the Schiap lipstick and nail polish shade, visit dailymakeover.com.

Makeup Mondays With Mario: Your Perfect Nude Lip

Celebrity makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic is answering your burning beauty questions!!! Every Monday, he will answer a beauty/skin care question as part of a weekly column on Spoiled Pretty, Makeup Mondays with Mario.

Hi Mario,

If you're reading this, it means that you chose my question – which is so exciting!!! I am a big fan and am awed by your talent. I've been reading your column on Spoiled Pretty since it started, and have really improved as an amateur makeup artist. So thanks! Anyway, here is my question – I love the nude lip look, but I never know how to pull it off. How do I find my right shade of nude, and do you have any tools/techniques for pulling off the look? And can you recommend some of you all-time favorite nude lipsticks/glosses?

Your biggest fan,
Kirstie

Hey Kirstie,

Let me start out by saying that you're very sweet!

When choosing nude shades for your lips, you should keep a couple things in mind: light pinks look better on fare skin because they will most likely have too much white in them for darker complexions. Peachy/beige nudes look great on medium to darker skin tones because of the yellow pigments in them.

If your lips are naturally red or dark, pat some foundation on your lips first to block out the color so that the true lipstick shade shows. My fave nudes are Honolulu Honey Lipstick by NARS and Josie Maran Plumping Lip Gloss in Optimism.

Thanks for visiting Makeup Mondays with Mario!

xo,
Mario

Oscars 2010 Beauty: Paula Patton

Makeup artist Mylah Morales used the following products on Precious star Paula Patton:

"For Paula Patton's Oscar beauty look I started by applying Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil to clean up her skin and create an ideal canvas for foundation application. Next I applied Giorgio Armani Foundation and set the foundation with a sheer layer of COVERGIRL Queen Collection Natural Hue Minerals Pressed Powder, followed by COVERGIRL Queen Collection Natural Hue Minerals Bronzer for a gorgeous, bronze glow. To accentuate and enhance Paula's stunning orange dress, I focused on gold and brown shades for her eyes. I applied gold powder shadow in the corners of her eyes followed by a layer of COVERGIRL Smoky ShadowBlast in Bronze Fire over her lid for a gorgeous red carpet eye look. I completed her eye look with a few swipes of COVERGIRL LashBlast Length Mascara for dramatic, ultra-long lashes. For Paula's lips, I kept them pretty natural and used a peachy shade of gloss that matched her natural lipcolor. To complete Paula's overall look I applied NARS Blush in Taj Mahal followed by Shu Uemura Facial Hydration Mist to lock-in Paula's makeup and help it last her through the night."

Oscars Beauty 2010: Maggie Gyllenhaal

Maggie Gyllenhaal's Oscar beauty look, by COVERGIRL celebrity makeup artist, Molly R. Stern.

"Maggie is the muse of spring. Her Dries Van Noten gown is a swirl of bright colors that fades into white. For her makeup I wanted to bring out the color of her eyes with some depth while keeping with the brightness of her overall style. We started off the look by refreshing the skin with Jurlique Rose Water spray. Then I prepped the skin with Shu Uemura red:juvenus vitalizing concentrate and lightly moisturized with La Mer moisturizing lotion.

"For a flawless complexion I primed Maggie's skin with COVERGIRL & Olay Simply Ageless Serum Primer (out in July!!). Then I lightly applied some Chantecaille future skin foundation in the color 'cream' only where she needed it. Then lastly I dusted La Mer powder foundation in 'Ivory' to set the skin for the big night.

"For her amber peachy cheeks I used COVERGIRL & Olay Simply Ageless Sculpting Blush in Rich Cinnamon. And dusted some NARS Dolce Vita blush on the apples.

"For Maggie's eyes of layered copper smoke I based her eye with COVERGIRL Smoky ShadowBlast in Bronze Fire. Next I deepened her lid with NARS soft touch shadow pencil in Skorpios. Then I blended into the crease Shu Uemura pressed eye shadow 'p brown 810' and lastly I lightly dusted Shu Uemura pressed eyeshadow in 'n me brown 860' all over the lid for a golden finish. For the undereye, I resmudged the COVERGIRL Smoky ShadowBlast under her lash line to bring out the blue of Maggie's eyes. Finally I defined her lashes by combining brown and black mascara. I painted the lashes with both colors using COVERGIRL LashBlast Length for perfectly flirty long lashes.

"On Maggie's lips I applied NARS 'Schiap' lip color – it was the perfect shade to finish off the look. Its bright hue matches Maggie's vibrant sense of style and confidence."

NARS Sheer Glow Foundation Plus Orgasm Illuminator Equals Perfection

I'm not much of a cook, but I've got one heck of a recipe for ya...

Yesterday, my boo took me out for breakfast. As we sat across the table from each other, Graham kept gushing about my complexion. "Your skin looks amazing. Really, you're glowing...it looks so fresh and healthy." That's when I really started beaming, as Mr. Spoiled Pretty throws around compliments like manhole covers (his euphemism, not mine).

So what's my secret? Unfortunately, this time, it had nothing to do with the pregnancy hormones. This glow was a gift from NARS. A few weeks ago when I was in NYC for Fashion Week, I had an opportunity to meet with the NARS team - and I got color matched by James Boehmer, NARS International Lead Makeup Stylist. NARS gifted me with their Sheer Matte and Sheer Glow foundations in Cadiz (medium-dark with caramel and red undertones) - which was a PERFECT match, by the by.

Anyways, so my glow yesterday was the result of the Sheer Glow Foundation mixed with the new Orgasm Illuminator. Here's the recipe: mix 2 parts foundation with 1 part Orgasm Illuminator, and apply with a brush or sponge (I recommend the beautyblender). Then go somewhere where your beauty can be truly appreciated, and wait for the compliments to start flying.

Glo-oh-ow get 'em, girl.

PS - I want to take this opportunity to give a big shout out to NARS for their wide range of foundation shades. Far too often, women with deeper complexions find themselves forgotten by makeup brands. Not so with NARS. I'm so glad to have found this foundation. I encourage you to go to your nearest NARS counter or Sephora store and get color matched too. I guarantee you won't be able to leave empty-handed.

Golden Globes Gorgeous 2010: Christina Aguilera

"I wanted to create a soft natural look on Christina to compliment her gown and new haircut," said Kristofer Buckle for NARS Cosmetics.

"Her dress choice was a beautiful pastel peach with silver. I didn’t want the look to fight with her gown. The final look is chic and seamless, with a earthy colored smokey eye and glowing skin."

Below is Kristofer's step-by-step recipe to recreate Christina's look:

Complexion:
* Use the Balancing Moisture Lotion and apply the Makeup Primer as a base.
* Apply Firming Foundation and set with Pressed Powder.

Eyes:
* Apply the vanilla side of India Song Duo Eyeshadow as a base, over the entire lid and up to eyebrow.
* Next, use the shimmering walnut shade of India Song Duo Eyeshadow and apply to the outer corner and under the bottom lash line.
* Then, use the warm rich brown side of Cordura Duo Eyeshadow just under eye rubbing into the lower lash line to create smokey eye.
* Curl the eyelashes and apply a coat of Larger Than Life Lengthening Mascara to top and bottom lashes, following with 2 coats of Larger Than Life Volumizing Mascara for full lashes.
* Take Nuits Blanches Eyeliner Stylo and dot in between individual lashes.

Kristofer's tip: "I used the Push Eyeliner Brush to blend the eyeliner in between the lashes, which helped to apply just enough without looking to heavy."

Lips:
* Use the Fantasia Lipliner Pencil and Niagara Lipstick.
* Next, apply Easy Lover Lip Gloss (new for Spring 2010) over.

Kristofer's tip: "Applying a sheer pink gloss on top of a nude colored lip provides a nice modern pop of color."

Cheeks:
* Generously apply Orgasm Illuminator (new for Spring 2010) to cheekbones, décolletage, and shoulders for an all over glow.
* Use Malaysia Multiple Bronzer to contour cheeks by blending under cheekbones.
* Apply the Mata Hari Blush to the apple of cheeks and lightly tap on brow bone.

Kristoper's tip: "Lightly dusting a blush on the brow bone gives life to the eye and melds the whole look together."

* Next, with short, back and forth quick strokes use Nico Blush to highlight cheekbones.

Golden Globes Gorgeous 2010: Julianna Margulies

"Julianna has such beautiful skin and a gorgeous beaming smile, that I wanted to keep the colors subdued and let her natural skin tone shine through," said Kristofer Buckle for NARS Cosmetics. "I didn't want to use too much color because it might have taken away from her. I wanted it to be all about Julianna so I focused on highlighting her skin by encouraging shine and glow."

Below, Kristofer shares his step-by-step to recreate Julianna's look:

Complexion:
* Using fingers apply Orgasm Illuminator (NEW for Spring 2010) down the center of the nose, across cheekbones, and on the apples of the cheeks.
* Apply Firming Foundation all over face, mixing in with the Orgasm Illuminator.
* Re-apply Orgasm Illuminator over the entire complexion to encourage shine.

Kristofer's tip: "I used the Flat Concealer Brush to apply the Orgasm Illuminator on top of the foundation creating high gleam."

Eyes:
* Apply both sides of Cordura Duo Eyeshadow into the crease and all over the eyelid.
* Dab the sooty dark brown side of Cordura Duo Eyeshadow on the outer part of the eye.

Kristofer's tip: "I love the shimmering iridescent in this eyeshadow. A metallic iridescence softens the smokiness of an eye allowing it to look like it is part of the skin rather than looking gothic."

* Next, use the sable shade from Brousse Duo Eyeshadow and lightly dust under lower lash line.
* Then, lightly tap Orgasm Illuminator on the inside corner of the eye.
* Curl the eyelashes and apply Larger Than Life Lengthening Mascara.

Lips:
* Apply Cruising Lipstick (new for Spring 2010).
* Next, layer Ophelia Lip Gloss (new for Spring 2010) over the lipstick.

Kristofer's tip: "I love this soft pink, it adds just the right amount of color."

Cheeks:
* Dust Super Orgasm Blush onto the apples of cheeks.

Body:
* Blend Orgasm Illuminator all over neck and décolletage.

NARS Spring 2010 Collection

Inspired by Catherine Deneuve’s role as Lucille in La Chamade, the NARS Spring 2010 Collection features soft, sexy shades that are as elegant as they are versatile.

"I love Catherine’s makeup look in this movie," says François Nars, Founder and Creative Director of NARS Cosmetics who chose supermodel Amber Valletta for the campaign. "It’s very sophisticated and bourgeois in a Parisian '16th Arrondissement' way. She is the perfect reference for this collection, and apropos for spring, a time to embrace color and get noticed." The hues are playful yet sophisticated and can be either soft and subtle or bold and daring. As always, the effects are limitless, determined by application, technique, and attitude.

"The shades are soft, sexy and light — like springtime. The formulas are trans-parent, so they allow the skin to look natural and fresh. If a woman wants a more intense look — and I hope she does — the hues can be layered for a bolder effect."

Lipstick in Cruising, $24
This subtle, sexy pink lipstick hue provides a sheer natural long-lasting color. The hydrating formula can be worn alone, or over a NARS Lip Pencil for variations in color and depth. It's neutral enough to pair perfectly with dramatic eyes, yet alluring enough to attract attention when used on its own.

Lip Gloss in Easy Lover, $24
Serious luster meets sexy color in this ultra-sheer hot pink lip gloss. The eye-catching and refreshing springtime hue is perfectly suited to deliver super shiny, sensual lips. An extra dab of it in the center of the bottom lip will accentuate sheen and fullness. It's impossible to resist.

Lip Gloss in Ophelia, $24
This high-shine strawberry nectar lip gloss is deliciously sweet and seductive. Wear it alone, or over NARS lip products for a more intense effect and color variation. The glossy formula will capture both the light and the attention of admirers.

Nail Polish in Purple Rain, $16
This intensely gothic purple is a bright and audacious shade destined to become a modern classic. Boasting a long-wearing formula, this intense nail hue vacillates between opposites: rocker or royalty, rebellious or refined.

Single Eyeshadow in D. Gorgeous, $23
This dusty lilac powder eyeshadow yields just a hint of flirtation, but never misses its mark. The long-wearing, crease-resistant matte formula boasts a translucent texture and can be applied sheer, or layered with other NARS products for a bolder result.

Duo Cream Eyeshadow in Camargue, $32
Named for the deep, dancing, sun-cast hues found in the French river delta, this pairing of golden moss and sienna, with multi-colored reflections comes in a soft-blending, glistening cream eyeshadow formula. Wear it alone or layered beneath NARS powder eyeshadows to create more color, depth and intensity.

Duo Eyeshadow in Kuala Lumpur, $32
Like its Malaysian city namesake, this perfectly harmonized gold infused rose and boysenberry pairing is influenced by contrasts — rich and subtle, traditional yet modern. Wear the two shades separately or together, sheer or layered for a more dramatic effect. Try swiping one shade over the entire eyelid and applying the other just beneath the brow bone to highlight.

Glitter Pencil in Bains Douches, $24
This bright sky blue, silver glitter-infused hue delivers powerful, vibrant color that slides on smooth and remains creamy for blending. Use this glitter pencil layered or alone — to line, accent, highlight or illuminate the eyes. No matter how it’s used, the look will be as ultra-chic as the legendary Parisian nightclub for which it was named.

The Spring 2010 collection will be available on January 15, 2010 at narscosmetics.com.

Lilliana Vazquez Q&A: Looking Chic On The Cheap

I've often said that – even if I was a multi-millionaire – I'd still be clipping coupons, scouring the Internet for promo codes and making beelines for clearance racks. Deal-hunting gives me a sense of control in a world full of chaos - and one of the best recessionista resources is The Cheap Chica's Guide To Style, a website that shines a spotlight on high fashion at low prices.

For me, bargain shopping is more than just a hobby. It's a way of life. And as with any endeavor, practice makes perfect. So I was thrilled to chat up the blogger behind Cheap Chicas (and fellow Philadelphian), Lilliana Vazquez, and pick her brain about how to dress luxe for less.

Read on for Lilliana's tips on looking fabulous within the framework of your own figure, budget, and lifestyle.

SP: When did you first fall in love with fashion and beauty?
LV:
My mom says out of the womb...even when I couldn't talk she says I had a say in what I wore!

SP: What was your first big break as a style expert?
LV:
My first time on air at FOX4 in Dallas was my biggest break early on...since then I've turned it into a regular gig on NBC 10 in Philadelphia where I'm their fashion and style correspondent.

SP: What is your style philosophy?
LV:
I'm all about mixing. High and low, plaids and prints, pearls and denim. I love using unexpected pairings to create a look that's unique and interesting and NOT predictable. Oh and style has nothing to do with money or labels...you can look just as good in head to toe thrift as you can in couture.

SP: What is the most treasured item in your closet?
LV:
My Chanel Jumbo Classic Flap Bag...it's my most prized possession!

SP: If you could spend the day with one fashion icon (living or deceased), who would it be and what would you do?
LV:
Coco Chanel and Christian Louboutin...they're both masters. I'd have Coco edit my closet and dress me to her liking and have Louboutin personally fit my foot for a custom pair of shoes!

SP: What makes a woman 'stylish?'
LV:
Confidence. You can wear anything if you have the attitude to pull it off...whether it's pair of shoes from Payless or a Lanvin gown.

SP: Who are some of your favorite designers of all time?
LV:
Chanel, Balenciaga, Giambattista Valli, Lanvin.

SP: Which trends will be big this fall/winter?
LV:
Over the knee boots, excessively chunky knits, and motorcycle jackets.

SP: Which trend(s) do you wish would die?
LV:
I love to have fun with fashion and trends are a part of that so I'm willing to try anything once...but I won't spend money on super trendy items and I always advise my readers not to either.

SP: Current handbag obsessions?
LV:
I rarely spend money on "it" handbags...I have two or three classic bags that are designer but the rest of my collection is comprised of bags that cost $50 or less! Trends I'm loving are cross body for day and evening, 80's inspired shapes like the drawstring and oversized clutches are my fave!!

SP: Which celebrities would you love to style and why?
LV:
Cameron Diaz because she's fearless and has an amazing body to dress, Nicole Richie because I love her eclectic style and she's petite like me, and January Jones because she's so fresh and new on the fashion/celeb scene but has incredible potential!

SP: Where are your favorite places to shop?
LV:
Zara, Forever 21 (it's my mecca and I visit at least 3x per week!), H&M, Cherry Hill Thrift Center, Barney's Shoe Floor, Madewell, Ebay, Lulus.com, Target.

SP: What tips do you have for women who want star style on a budget?
LV:
Make a list of your celeb style icons and watch what they're wearing. If you keep a close eye on their fashion choices you'll start to see a few common threads (colors, textures, cuts, styles, etc) and those are the items you purchase at budget friendly stores like Forever 21 and H&M. These items are their "signatures" and by incorporating them into the clothes you already own, you won't have to buy a whole new wardrobe to get their star style! Oh and for the best in celeb looks for less, go to my blog!!

SP: What are three fashion accessories every woman should own?
LV:
An amazing pair of nude pumps (4" at least and your legs will look a mile long), a big, chunky statement necklace and tons and tons bangles that can be layered together!

SP: Can you share some figure-slimming fashion tips?
LV:
Use belts to accent your waist...especially in the Fall/Winter when you're layering! Understand proportions and how they relate to your body...shortening a skirt by one inch or sending your blazer to a tailor to be taken in can make you look 2 sizes smaller!

SP: What products are staples in your makeup bag?
LV:
Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer, Tarte Creme Blush, NARS Catfight Lipstick, CoverGirl LashBlast and I've never met a lipgloss I didn't like!

Spoiled Pretty Exclusive: Kim Kardashian Emmy Beauty Breakdown!!!

By now, you know that I love me some Kim Kardashian makeup. So when celebrity makeup artist (and the biggest sweetheart who ever LIVED) Mario Dedivanovic offered me an exclusive beauty breakdown of her Emmys look, I pinched myself so hard, I swear it left a mark.

So without further ado, Mario shares the products and tips to steal Kim Kardashian's 2009 Emmy Awards makeup...

Kim was wearing a gorgeous white gown and I wanted the focus to be on her eyes. I had
custom blended this pretty shade of blue shadow at GIELLA custom blend cosmetics in NYC and was waiting for the perfect occasion to dip into it. With her hair slicked back and a white off the shoulder gown, I was certain that it would work with the rest of the face done clean and dewy, with a nude matte lip.

I prepped Kim’s skin with Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Moisturizer first, followed by Diorskin Nude Natural Glow Hydrating Makeup all over. To set skin, I applied a bit of Laura Mercier's Loose Setting Powder in Beige. Her brows are filled in with Diorshow Brow Styler Ultra-Fine Precision Brow Pencil, concentrating on the outer corners.

For her eyes, I sprayed a bit of water on an eyeshadow brush (this picks up and holds loose eyeshadow better) and dipped it into Aquagirl eyeshadow by GIELLA - custom blended by yours truly ;-). I applied Aquagirl all over the eyelids up to the crease, blending well so there are no lines.

On the inner corners of the eyes, apply GIELLA's b-dazzle eyeshadow. Use the leftovers on the brush to lightly sweep onto the brow bone. You dont want the brow bone to appear very shiny or light as it will look dated. Smoke Aquagirl shadow along the lower lash line as well. For more drama, you can take it all the way into the inner corners. Use Fascinating Eye Kohl by MAC on the inner rims of the eyes. Curl lashes a couple of times and apply two coats of Lancome Hypnose Mascara on top and bottom lashes. If you want super long lashes like Kim, apply a few individual long lashes to each eye.

Kim's skin is bronzed with
Casino by NARS. Use a bit on a brush and apply it along the hairline. With a smaller brush, apply more onto the hollows of the cheeks. Use Orgasm by NARS on the apples of the cheeks. To highlight the cheekbones and bridge of nose, I swept a tiny bit of b-dazzle shadow by GIELLA and blended with a clean brush.

I lined Kim's lips with
Subculture by MAC, then blended a dab of the Dior foundation to her lips. Blot that with a tissue and use Honeylove Lipstick, also by MAC.

Get In Line: NARS Introduces New Eyeliner Stylo

Liquid liner is a true beauty icon. Able to transform eyes into miniature works of art with one swipe, it has been the signature look of some of the world’s most legendary beauties.

Boasting the ergonomically friendly ease of a felt-tip pen, and the refined pigment quality that NARS is known for, the Eyeliner Stylo ($27) is indispensable for looks both elegant and extreme. The chic, polished black packaging and ultra-fine, marker-style tip makes the Eyeliner Stylo both highly portable and foolproof. The tip is firm but flexible, offering an innovative level of control. That means a precise, even line has never been easier to achieve. One stroke of the quick-drying, waterproof formula is all you need to create immediate femme fatale eyes.

Can't wait to try this!
